Q: Can you explain the process of buying/selling pre-owned and vintage items?

A: Absolutely! We hand-pick our items by three standards: quality, durability and condition. They must be functional and be very aesthetically presentable with very little to a virtually flaw free appearance - very noticeable flaws, if present, may be noted. Minor normal wear is not only normal for vintage and preowned, but expected - with age, usage and exposure through time - any minor flaws are notably a part of a piece's charm and character. It is improbable to note every single show of wear. We do have incredibly high standards of quality, and we meticulously inspect every piece multiple times for noticeable or major flaws. Any flaws beyond minor normal wear may be noted in the item's description. All of our items arrive clean and ready for use. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.


Q: Are your vintage, mid century and antique items "authentic" for its time period? 

A. Yes! All of our items are authentic vintage, mid century or antique pieces that are at least 20+ years old. There may be items that are "retro", emulating a time period; this may be noted in the title or description of the item.


Q: Are the items ready for use upon arrival?

A. Yes. Our items arrive clean and/or restored and ready for use. 


Q: Are accessories included?

A: No. Unless otherwise noted in the description, accessories shown are not included.



Q: Do you accept returns?


A: Yes, we offer a no-hassle return of items that are post-marked and returned within 24-48 business hours of receipt on most clothing only, {a try-on and return period}Item must be the exact item that was purchased and must be unworn/unused with no damage. If we've missed a flaw, the item has been damaged in shipment or you simply wish to return the item within the time period allowed, please notify us immediately upon receipt. Returned items will be issued a full refund of the purchase price + original shipping paid upon receipt; the refund will be issued in the original form of payment. Return shipping charges are not offered and are non-refundable.


Q: Is there anything that is EXCLUDED from being returned?

A: Yes. At this time, we will only accept returns on most clothing - however, this policy excludes all party, bridal, furs, designer and bead/sequin clothing, which are NOT RETURNABLE. Pre-owned and vintage items have been previously owned and used - for this reason, the majority of our vintage and/or pre-owned items are a final sale. Remember - we have a VERY high standard of choosing the items we sell - we only deal in quality vintage and resale items. Please carefully inspect your items immediately upon receipt and contact us if there is an issue with your purchase or with questions and concern before a purchase. We're happy to assist.


Q: Are there any fees associated with items being returned?

A: Yes. Buyer is responsible for any/all fees add'l fees associated with their purchase from The Vintedge Co., and/or Marcolleen LLC; this includes duties, insurance claims and/or all return or charge backs costs, charges and/or fees; even if filed under a merchandise claim, buyer agrees, at their expense, to return this item.
